Danny Sullivan Group are looking for a General Foreman to join a workforce in Scotland, working on an Electrical/Substation project. The ideal candidate for this role would hold responsibility for overlooking on-site activities and ensuring the work environment is operated in a safe manner. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of construction workers, ensuring they understand project goals and responsibilities while providing guidance and support. Plan daily schedules, supervise activities to meet project needs, and resolve technical or logistical issues through communication with engineers and subcontractors. Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure the proper use of safety equipment while maintaining a clean and organized site. Overlook the use of machinery, manage material procurement, and schedule maintenance for equipment. Maintain daily progress reports, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure proper documentation of work. Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure smooth project execution and troubleshoot on-site issues. Experience/Qualifications: Proven experience as a General Foreman in civils, within the energy sector. Strong background in Civils. Extensive knowledge of groundworks, drainage, concrete structures, and earthworks. SMSTS or SSSTS certification required. Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred).
