IC Talent are recruiting for school receptionist for our schools in Birmingham. We are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive School Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our schools administrative functions. The Role: As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and parents, and you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the school. You will provide administrative support to senior leadership, teaching staff, and other departments, ensuring that all processes run efficiently. Youll be involved in managing communications, organizing schedules, maintaining records, and supporting school events. Key Responsibilities: Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from parents, students, and external organizations. Maintain accurate student records and update databases as required. Support with the preparation and distribution of school communications, including newsletters, reports, and notices. Assist with the organization of school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities. Manage office supplies and resources, ensuring stock levels are maintained. Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team and teaching staff. Assist with student attendance tracking and the reporting of absence information. Handle confidential information in line with school policies and data protection regulations. Assist with the schools admissions process and the enrolment of new students. Support the schools safeguarding and health & safety procedures. What Were Looking For: Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a school or educational setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and school management systems. A proactive, professional, and approachable manner. Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling data. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
