Principal Process Engineer - Outside IR35 Scope of Work: Kent is looking for a Principal Process Engineer to deliver Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design Projects in the Energy and Chemicals industry Deliverables: Reporting to the lead engineer on feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC project, the Principal Process Engineer will develop the following deliverables: Process Basis of Design Input to Basic Engineering Design Data Process philosophies Block Flow Diagram and Overall Material Balance Process Simulations Heat & Material Balance Process & Utilities Flow Diagrams Design Pressure & Design Temperature Diagram Input to Material Selection Diagrams Equipment Sizing, Equipment Data Sheets, Equipment List Line Sizing, Line List Input to Instrument List Control Valve Sizing, Relief Load Calculation, Relief Valve Sizing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams for Process units, Utility & Offsite systems and Infrastructure Active participation in project meetings Key Requirements: Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering Highly Experienced in feasibility, Pre-FEEED, FEED, detailed design and EPC projects Knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards and codes Capable of performing above deliverables/ activities with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets Responsible for communicating technical/ project issues potentially impacting the project to the lead engineer. Principal Process engineer is accountable to the lead engineer or project engineer.
