Midland Transport is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to be based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The Financial Analyst will provide detailed financial tools that will assist with decision making and contribute with the plan and facilitate annual budget process.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze the financial results and identify the business opportunities.
* Provide financial guidance and support to internal departments.
* Manage special projects that improve the process efficiency and the performance as well as review and analyze cost efficiency initiatives and projects.
* Facilitate the budget process.
* Build financial models for business proposals and growth and expansion opportunities.
* Research and resolve business unit(s) inquiries for functional areas.
* Ad hoc analysis and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Education Required: University Degree in Accounting or related field
* Years of Experience Required:
o 5 to 8 years business related experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
* Capacity to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively with high degree of accuracy.
