Job Description Inspector Full Time, shift-work Bristol Why Rolls-Royce? What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inspector to join the team at our Turbines Facility in Bristol. Responsibilities: You will inspect engine part and will be checking the documentation, including drawings, risk release, concessions and deviation permits in accordance with the Rolls Royce Management System, in addition you will: Perform inspection on incoming and outgoing material using calibrated tooling provided & verifying appropriate documentation. Highlight any non-conformance found and escalate through the appropriate channels. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with the Rolls Royce Management System (RRMS) Ensure your training requirements are current and in date according to the requirements. Support and adhere to all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping policies. Ensure that work performed is accurately completed to the RRMS standards. Maintain, monitor and control departmental calibration lists and tooling. Work with outside agencies on checking stocks as required. Why Rolls-Royce? Completed advanced level apprenticeship ( essential for this role ) in an engineering discipline to minimum City & Guilds level 3/NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or previous equivalent of these qualifications. Please attach a copy of your apprenticeship certificate together with your application. Ability to think clearly and make appropriate decisions to ensure product integrity and quality. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manuals accurately, and to use measurement tooling. Ideally, have a quality and continuous improvement focus. Must be numerate, with good PC literacy. Knowledge of SAP & Teamcenter is preferred. Good team working and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable interfacing with internal colleagues and external visitors.
