Are you a skilled commercial professional with a passion for driving excellence in social housing? VINCI Facilities is seeking a dynamic Sector Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of multiple social housing contracts across the South East, focusing on retrofit and energy efficiency projects.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee commercial management across multiple social housing contracts, ensuring profitability and contractual compliance.
2. Lead on cost control, procurement, and contract management to maximize value for both VINCI Facilities and clients.
3. Implement and manage effective commercial strategies for retrofit and sustainability initiatives.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Provide detailed commercial reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
6. Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial professionals, ensuring continuous professional development.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
1. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (QS) or Commercial Management. Membership in RICS or equivalent is desirable.
2. Experience: Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably within social housing or public sector contracts.
3. Expertise in Retrofit: Strong understanding of retrofit projects and energy-efficient construction methods.
4. Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contracts.
