My client is a market-defining Insurtech company who is looking for a Head of Operations to oversee all aspects of operations management at their Hertfordshire office. This role is crucial for driving improvements in their customer experience and operational efficiency.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Oversee the end-to-end claims lifecycle, ensuring processes are efficient, optimised, and customer-centric.
* Lead, mentor, and manage the claims team to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
* Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all operations comply with FCA regulations and internal policies.
* Champion a customer-first approach in claims handling, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
* Drive continuous improvement in claims processes, leveraging technology and data to enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive operations and align claims operations with strategic goals.
* Proactively identify risks in the claims process and implement mitigating actions.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor claims performance and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in a senior claims management role within a regulated environment (FCA-regulated business experience preferred).
* In-depth understanding of claims processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
* Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Desirable: Experience in the property, insurance, or financial technology sectors.
