Working Pattern: 37.5 Hours per Week 5 out of 7 Nights per Week 8:30pm to 4am Rewards: 28 days' paid holidays (pro rata) Company Pension Career Development & Training Employee Assistance Program to support your health & wellbeing Financial Education/Financial wellbeing advisory service Onsite Parking Company Events The Role: (Please see attached full Job Description) In this role you will be responsible for carrying out delegated cleaning duties in accordance with agreed procedures which includes: Litter picking, Removing graffiti, Removing unauthorised stickers, Cleaning and replenishing toilets, Cleaning of bio-hazards and safe removal and correct disposal of sharps, Cleaning overhead racks, Outside work which will include uneven surfaces and rail tracks, (must be steady on your feet with good balance) Report defective equipment/ utensils/ work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues etc. to your Line Manager. Must work with several different chemical products, EG removing graffiti shampooing carpets. Working outside in inclement weather for extended periods washing the outside of the trains The Person: Attention to detail in all aspects of the work. Leads by example and lives our values. Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate's job offer will be subject to passing a Personal Track Safety Medical Assessment. This will include a full and thorough medical, (including a drug and alcohol test) for the purpose of Public Train Safety prior to appointment.
