Job Title: Quality Manager (Food Industry) Location: Dungannon, Co. Tyrone Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their team in Dungannon, The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards across our operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality management systems, fostering a strong food safety culture, and leading the quality team to achieve excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Systems to ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and customer requirements. Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all regulatory and customer standards are met. Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to improve product consistency and safety. Monitor and investigate quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions. Provide leadership and training to the quality team, fostering a proactive approach to food safety. Work closely with production, technical, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of quality metrics. Liaise with external regulatory bodies, customers, and suppliers regarding quality and compliance matters. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function. Key Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years experiencein a quality management role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and other food safety standards. Proven track record in managing audits and compliance processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive a food safety culture. Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation.
