Job Overview
The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking to appoint an organised Head of Year (non-Teaching), who will provide highly effective pastoral care to the year group and promote and secure a culture of high expectations for all students. If you enjoy working with young people and would like to help them prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor all students’ welfare and safeguarding.
2. Lead, manage, and develop a team of tutors.
3. Engage with all staff, parents/carers, and stakeholders to raise aspirations and improve outcomes for all.
Qualifications
To succeed, you will have experience of working in a school’s pastoral system, including acting as a tutor, and have obtained a good basis level of education including GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
