Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join the team of a business operating within the FMCG sector, based in West Manchester. This role is responsible for all of the purchasing activities at the site.
Responsibilities
* Negotiating contracts
* Managing supplier service and quality
* Supervising one team member
* Working collaboratively with operations to ensure supply of raw materials
* Purchasing strategy involvement
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate that you have worked within a senior buying role for a minimum of 3 years within the FMCG/Manufacturing sector, ideally chemicals or pharmaceuticals. You will be able to manage significant budget expenditure and utilise MPP systems.
Ideally, you will be CIPS qualified, but at the very least be working towards that.
