Job Description
Falkirk Council is currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on the role of Fleet Mechanic at its friendly and modern workshop based in Grangemouth.
Hourly Rate: up to £18.70
Responsibilities
1. Support the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of Council owned & hired vehicles.
2. Ensure the highest quality of work is produced inclusive of servicing, repair, and fault diagnosis.
Requirements
1. Qualified motor mechanic with excellent diagnostic skills.
2. Ability to work independently both safely and competently.
3. Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
4. Willingness to be trained on HGV’s and the EV fleet.
5. Integrity, a can-do attitude, and excellent communication skills.
You will work 37 hours per week on a fixed shift, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm creating the perfect work-life balance, with overtime available when required.
