My client, an engineering company based in Wokingham, are looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be working within the Customer Services Team, assisting the Production Planning, Sales and Marketing teams.
Responsible for sales order processing and telephone enquiries, ensuring accurate input of orders and delivery to customers, providing a rapid response and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties:
* Taking customer service calls and dealing with a wide range of customer enquiries. This is not a call centre and therefore not a huge amount of calls per day inbound.
* Processing purchase orders.
* Quotation of standard and bespoke products.
* Liaison with production / external suppliers to follow up outstanding orders and keep customer informed of any changes to delivery dates.
* Dealing with customer complaints/return requests.
* General office duties and administrative support to sales personnel and other departments as required.
Education / Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* At least 5 GCSE Grade C passes or equivalent to include Maths and English Language.
* Computer literate (good working knowledge of Microsoft office).
* Experience in SuperOffice or other CRM systems is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
* Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with an excellent telephone manner.
