VACANCY
COVER SUPERVISOR
Unqualified Teacher 2 - £24,224
Required As Soon As Possible
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and flexible team player who will be expected to provide cover in lessons for absent teachers. The role will primarily involve communicating teacher set tasks to pupils and supervising the completion of that work, whilst promoting positive behaviour and conduct.
We expect that this position will attract applicants from a range of backgrounds, but all with the common experience of working successfully with young people in an education or similar setting. Equally, this opportunity might suit those applicants with a proven aptitude for working with young people, those who may be considering a teaching career in the future and those looking for valuable relevant experience. You will join the school as part of our teaching staff who are our most valued resource; thus, professional development is at the heart of our practice. We run our innovative and highly effective ‘Triad’ programme – a collaborative programme that supports everyone’s development, no matter what their level of experience. This is within a school culture that values all staff, promotes well-being and prioritises a manageable workload.
Teaching is an ever-changing job, but the things we can guarantee are:
· Location: Bromley Cross (rural suburbs of Bolton)
· Train station 2 minutes from school
· Opportunities for career development; we run our own teacher training programme SD@Turton and are keen to hear from colleagues considering a teaching career.
· Bespoke CPD opportunities
· Contract: permanent
· Flexible working considered
· A warm, caring, dedicated set of colleagues, who are very keen to learn from you
