Working hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2200 – 0700 (with occasional weekends)

What you’ll be doing?
Manage costs and ensure that they are controlled as efficiently as possible whilst also delivering the highest levels of accuracy and customer/patients’ service
Effectively plan and execute labour requirements in a high-volume environment, in conjunction with forecasted volumes, utilising agency staff when required
Drive continuous improvement within the facility ensuring adherence to all legal, ethical, professional and company requirements
Provide training, development and performance reviews of your team and support them with appropriate feedback when required
Engage your team of people by delivering daily team briefings and debriefings to ensure the performance and welfare of the team is as high as possible
Monitor and report KPI's, SLA's and performance metrics
Report all near misses, accidents, and incidents in compliance of HSE and company policies
Working with key teams across the business (customer service, purchasing, clinical & pharmacists)
Who are we looking for?
Proven experience at Senior Manager level, and in managing and developing a large warehouse team (including managing team leaders/supervisory level staff in a high volume environment) – a formal management qualification would be highly desirable
Role model who leads by example and is able to motivate and coach team members
Experience/involvement in continuous improvement projects and implementing new processes
Experience of working under pressure, delivering against tight deadlines in a highly accurate environment
Ability to use Excel and WMS Systems at a proficient level
Must be willing to participate in NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistants Course when made available
Numerate, literate and strong written and verbal communication skills
Tenacious, professional and driven to succeed
