Job: Assistant/Junior BMS Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a leading business within the building services sector as an Assistant/Junior BMS Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to transition from a hands-on BMS installation/engineering background into project management.
The position supports senior project managers within the BMS division, offering the opportunity to gain experience in managing complex projects while developing skills in construction health & safety, communication, and project coordination.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage sub-contractors.
* Develop and manage project programmes.
* Oversee contract administration.
* Ensure adherence to health & safety standards.
* Conduct quality assurance checks on all aspects of the project.
* Maintain effective document control processes.
* Represent the team in client meetings.
Key Skills & Requirements:
* A solid understanding of BMS systems and the processes involved from installation to completion.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present professionally.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
* A proactive and team-oriented mindset, ready to step in and resolve challenges as they arise.
* Supervisory or team management experience is a plus.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
