Team – Sourcing - Group Operations Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week. What this role is all about: As part of the Sourcing team, you will be responsible for Vitality’s end to end sourcing and supplier management activities within the technology category. This includes the identification, engagement and onboarding of third parties for IT products and services; the ongoing management of Vitality’s existing IT supplier base; and the category management of areas of spend to drive best value. Vitality are a tech-driven organisation with a wide range of IT sourcing activity. Software forms a large part of the category and an ability to manage licence renewals alongside other areas of IT spend will be key to your success. Key Actions Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to define category focused sourcing strategies to meet sourcing and business objectives. Identify and deliver value through spend reduction opportunities, supplier consolidation and value adding activities. Utilise existing knowledge and conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, define the preferred sourcing solution, and manage any competitive (RFI/RFP) exercises to meet business and commercial requirements. Perform on-going supplier management and assurance activities across a portfolio of suppliers to help Vitality effectively manage service performance, cost and risk in its supply chain. Act as an escalation point for issues with suppliers and support the business in the resolution of issues. Effectively manage a portfolio of contracts via the Contract Lifecycle Management process and identify efficiency improvements and cost savings, whilst enabling the business to maintain required service levels and mitigate risk. What do you need to thrive? Possess specific knowledge within the IT sourcing category Have a proven track record in a sourcing environment, with a history of savings delivery Have impressive experience of negotiations with suppliers to deliver value and mitigate contractual risk Possess a great attention to detail and a strong desire to seek ways to deliver continuous improvement.
