Our clients in financial services, engineering, aerospace, marine, IT, and government sectors depend on LRQA to effectively audit their management systems and provide assurance of business-critical compliance and risk management.
About the role
* The role gives you the opportunity to obtain a healthy blend of travel and visiting client sites whilst retaining the flexibility to undertake remote audits when required.
* You’ll perform business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension or withdrawal of certification in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 management system standards.
* The outcome of your assessments will result in accurate, insightful reports that will be of real worth to our clients.
* This position is home based with extensive travel required.
You will:
* Have substantial experience in third party auditing/assessment to integrated management systems (ISO 14001, 9001, ISO45001) including auditing and process level auditing.
* Be a registered Lead Auditor with IRCA or equivalent accredited body.
* At least two year’s work experience in a role specifically related to managing environmental and safety impacts / aspects and compliance with environmental law and regulations.
* The work experience can be gained either in an industrial position, or as a regulator.
* Have experience with a wide range of industry sectors.
* Hold a degree (or equivalent qualification) BS Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related subject.
* Possess a high standard of personal presentation, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a flexible attitude.
* Have the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK.
* You will be competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
