Role Details: Senior Electrical Engineer - Teesside Based with hybrid working Altrad Major Projects business are currently expanding due to a number of project successes in the North East. To support this growth we anticipate the need for a Senior Electrical Engineer on a 12 month basis to be responsible for all Electrical Engineering work assigned and delegate some level of supervision and specific checking activities to appropriate competent personnel.As part of the opportunity you will review and check the Electrical activities including, Philosophies, Specifications, Schedules, Drawings & Diagrams, Datasheets and Technical Requisitions for long lead items. The hybrid role offers 2 days working from home maximum with 3 days in the office minimum.Key Responsibilities: Identifies and resolves discrepancies and divergences from original proposal / contract by raising technical queries with projects / client.Performing cable calculations using Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP), understanding the design parameters that are required.Performing cable calculations using Trimble (Amtech), understanding the design parameters that are required.Using the Trimble software to interpret the output and report information.Identifying protective devices and understanding the discrimination of a power distribution networkCapable of participating in Factory Acceptance Tests.Participates in multidiscipline Engineering Design Reviews and provides all necessary Electrical engineering input and support to close out of actions.Identifies a clear scope of work and prepares the Master Document Register (MDR).
