BMW UK, Farnborough - Aftersales Service Development Intern - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
What awaits you?
5. A multi-faceted role sitting within the Aftersales Business Development team but reporting into the Service Development function, with the purpose of supporting the core programmes / marketing initiatives and BAU activities.
6. This role will support with the development of a range of service programmes (service inclusive, pay monthly etc), adding value to Customers and the Retailer Network for both BMW and MINI brands.
7. From day one you will utilise reporting, analytics, and market intelligence to ensure that our Service product offerings are competitive in the UK market, driving customer retention and profitability.
8. You will play a key role in supporting the team to review and enhance existing initiatives as well as bringing new ideas to market where we can identify commercial opportunity.
9. Alongside this you will be responsible for assisting with the planning of our quarterly marketing campaigns and supporting with the implementation of pilot programmes from BMW AG.
Qualifications and Experience
10. Well organised, able to prioritise and has an appreciation of meeting deadlines (including interim goals) as well as basic Project Management skills.
11. Comfortable to work on both individual projects and team initiatives simultaneously.
12. Confident interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
13. Self-motivated, organised, show initiative and flexibility.
14. Prepared to take ownership of elements within a project and challenge positively.
15. Basic automotive commercial awareness, Aftersales and Retailer knowledge advantageous.
16. Confident in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
17. Potential to understand Manufacturer Systems and Financial Controlling processes.
18. Awareness of the importance of brand values to a multi-national organisation.
