A dynamic business on the outskirts of Preston is looking to appoint a Management Accountant/FP&A Manager for a minimum period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.
This well-known brand is embarking on a 5 year growth strategy which will see turnover increasing by approximately 200% through entering overseas markets and expanding the services they provide.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:
Working in a team of 5 finance staff, as Management Accountant duties will include:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Balance sheet reconciliations
3. Cash flow monitoring
4. Budget meetings with HODs
5. Financial modelling
6. Ad hoc reporting
7. Building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders
8. Contributing to ongoing systems/process developments
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in the business partnering elements of the role. Full CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate a sufficient level of experience relevant to the role. Strong systems skills are required including Excel.
