Full job description
Provide a customer focused service dealing with all patients or visitors in an efficient, polite and courteous manner.
1. Handle queries from patients/relatives confidentially and sensitively; referring clinical-related queries to appropriate staff.
2. Support the Operational Manager in maximising the best use of clinical and non-clinical resources, managing/supervising junior members of the administration team.
3. Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely, polite, professional and confidential manner, taking action or escalating as appropriate, using initiative and prioritising skills.
4. Proactively manage patient pathways in line with Trust and NHS RTT 18 week standards so that all patients receive a high standard of service delivery.
5. Ensure all procedures are followed regarding data capture for service specific outcomes in line with Trust agreed timelines.
