YOUR ROLE | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Support ensuring all existing and new drivers are updated with company and legal policy requirements.
* Ensure inductions are carried out in line with company and legal obligations and policies.
* Manage, analyze, and report on Tachograph data to ensure full compliance.
* Manage and deliver customer-specific training as required.
* Proactively deliver theoretical and practical training to colleagues as needed.
* Complete and deliver periodic refresher training for drivers.
* Maintain a proactive approach to compliance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Perform site marshalling duties.
* Work closely with Transport Managers to manage O License-related content.
* Carry out gatehouse checks.
* Manage and control the purchase and issuance of uniforms and PPE.
* Assist the company in driving results, including FORS and DVSA Earned Recognition.
* Keep comprehensive driver training records.
* Assist with driver safety and site regulation duties.
WHAT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* HGV License & Driver CPC.
* Strong knowledge of LGV operations.
* Understanding of up-to-date driver hours rules and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills for building relationships internally and externally.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and relevant systems.
* Eagerness to develop skills and undertake further training.
