An exciting opportunity has risen to work with a large team in the Hewitt Fertility Centre.
The unit offers all fertility treatments from IVF through to Surrogacy. You will see patients from initial fertility investigations, through their fertility journey to early pregnancy scan.
The post holder will also perform hycosy investigations.
Main duties of the job
* To work as a clinical and technical expert within Diagnostic ultrasound integrating within the clinical team in delivering an effective fertility service.
* Experience within the fertility field would be desirable.

Job responsibilities
Hewitt Fertility Centre (HFC) is based within Liverpool Women's Hospital. It covers two sites, one based at Crown Street Liverpool and also HFC at Knutsford.
Patients who attend the unit are both NHS and Self-Funded. Although NHS work is predominantly from the North West and also Wales, self-funding patients and some NHS patients are from further afield.
Patients are cared for by a team of dedicated AHP's, Nurses, Clinicians, scientists and admin staff, all working together to help couples/individuals on their journey.
Working with a team of Consultant Sonographers you will be responsible for fertility scans during fertility investigations treatment cycles (including follicle tracking) and early pregnancy scanning.
The post holder will also perform hycosy investigations.
A responsibility to ensure the maintenance and service of the scan machines/probes within the department will also be part of the role.

* BSc or equivalent (DCR) - imaging science
