Job summary We are seeking to recruit a Fixed term Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive care for a period of 6 months initially with a view to extend for a further 6 months, to join our friendly and dynamic department at Worthing Hospital. The department is extremely forward thinking and has established itself within the national and international arena. We employ a number of trainees from the UK and overseas and have an excellent teaching record. Main duties of the job ITU is a 12 bedded unit, staffed and funded for 6 level 2 beds and 6 level 3 beds. The successful applicant with join 9 Intensive care Consultants and take part in a 1:9 dedicated ITU rota, additional clinical responsibilities will be dependent on candidates interests and may be occasionally worked on other sites within the Trust.
