Location : Rudies Reports To : Head of Data & BI Step level: 2 Who We Are Looking For : We are looking for a skilled and proactive BI Analyst to join our team at Rudies, Butternut Box's manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be central to optimising our operations by analyzing key production and supply chain metrics, uncovering insights that help drive operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decisions across multiple teams. You will have a hands-on role in shaping our data capabilities, from reporting and forecasting to optimisation, ensuring that all operations teams are empowered to make data-driven decisions. As part of the Data & BI team, you will collaborate closely with production, logistics, procurement and supply chain teams to improve performance, reduce downtime, and identify opportunities for cost savings. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to optimising our largest cost lines while building a data-driven culture within the operations space. Key Responsibilities : Operations Optimisation : Support the operations and manufacturing teams by providing data insights to optimise production schedules, improve supply chain dynamics, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Performance Monitoring : Develop and maintain dashboards to track key operational metrics, such as production efficiency, inventory levels, and supply chain performance, ensuring all teams have real-time access to critical data. Data Infrastructure : Support the ongoing development of a unified reporting framework that enables stakeholders to access accurate and timely data insights. Assist in identifying new key sources of data, then enhance and streamline those data pipelines to ensure fast, reliable reporting. Collaboration and Support : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production, and fulfilment, to ensure alignment on operational priorities and deliver impactful data insights that drive business decisions. Skills & Experience : Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interrogate large datasets. Proficient with spreadsheets and experience with SQL and/or Python. Experience with visualisation platforms like Looker, Tableau or similar. An interest in and understanding of operational and production metrics and how they impact business performance. Experience in operations support, including performance monitoring and cost optimisation within a manufacturing or supply chain context. A structured approach to problem-solving with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and a keen interest in continuous improvement and optimisation. A degree in a numerate or technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) is desirable.
