Passenger Assistant Role
The Passenger Assistant is responsible for travelling with young people in the back of the vehicle, collecting them from home, and safely dropping them off at school, and vice versa.
Most of our routes involve children with special educational needs, which means you will be dealing with at least one special need per individual (such as autism, emotional or behavioural difficulties, Asperger’s syndrome, hearing or sight impairments, etc.).
Position Details
This is a part-time position primarily during term times, Monday to Friday. Working hours are generally between 06:00 or 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with hours varying depending on the route. The pay rate is £11.50 per hour, with potential increases after the first year. You can expect to work between 16 and 30 hours per week.

* Provide two proofs of address (e.g., bank statement, utility bill)
* National Insurance number
* Enhanced DBS certificate with children and adults barred list checks
* Proof of right to work in the UK
