The Adult Protection team provides evidenced based, expert advice and support to staff on Adult Protection. The Adult Protection Advisors participate and lead in service development, training, audits, multi-agency meetings and reviews to ensure the highest standards of advice and support are provided. To enable organisational compliance with the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) 2007 Act and other protective legislation and guidance the post holder will be part of work to ensure effective systems and processes are in place in NHS Tayside to meet the needs of adults requiring support and protection. It is essential you are a Registered Nurse/SW/AHP with a first level degree. You also require a Post Graduate Certificate in Adult Protection OR are currently working towards this qualification OR willingness to undertake this course and relevant experience.
