KS2 Cover Supervisor
Level 3 Hourly rate £12.18 - £12.38
28.75 hours per week (30 minutes lunch and 15 minutes break)
1 x permanent post and 1 x temporary post

We are seeking a proactive and passionate KS2 Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality cover supervision across Key Stage 2. As a key member of our team, you will step in to deliver lessons prepared by teachers, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who is reflective in their approach, dedicated to inclusive practice, and keen to engage in continued professional development (CPD).
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver lessons to KS2 pupils in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring high standards of behaviour and engagement.
* Support and manage the classroom, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
* Encourage and motivate students to achieve their best, adapting to individual needs where necessary.
* Contribute to the assessment of student progress and feedback to teaching staff.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, providing pastoral support where appropriate.
* Support the social and emotional development of pupils, ensuring their well-being.
* Engage in reflective practice and take part in ongoing CPD to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:
* A relevant qualification (such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification) is desirable but not essential.
* A good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or equivalent.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
