The Telesales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing client relationships via phone, ensuring the smooth running of sales processes, and achieving individual sales targets. This role involves both generating new business through outbound calls and nurturing existing accounts to drive repeat sales and long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities Sales Generation: Identify and generate sales opportunities through outbound warm calls to an existing database of clients, follow-up calls, and prospecting. Account Management: Manage and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. Customer Needs Analysis: Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions to meet their business objectives. Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the company’s products/services and stay updated with new offerings to effectively present them to clients. Lead Nurturing: Convert leads into sales by managing the sales cycle from initial contact through to closing. Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales performance, client feedback, and progress against targets. Customer Retention: Address and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Market Research: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities for business development. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM tools. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in telesales, account management, or business development (typically 1-3 years). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work independently – this is a standalone role within the business. Strong customer service orientation. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office. Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Desirable Attributes Experience in stationery/greeting cards. A professional qualification in sales or business management.
