The Opportunity/Role Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning, t he Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in effectively translating commercial information from a variety of sources into a high-accuracy Demand Plan. This shall ensure all supply chains and value streams are provided with a clearly defined and modelled consensus forecast that allows clear actions to be made. Key Responsibilities will include: Prepar e unconstrained demand plans, working with Sales, Marketing (and customers) and provide input/modifications. Reach co nsensus using marketing, sales, financial, and supply chain views and agreement on market assumptions. Input on Product lifecycle changes, particularly new product launch plans Clean se and prepar e demand history to generate a statistical forecast including the use of algorithms. Translat e sales plans and market insight into mid to long term planning data that can be fed into ERP and used in S upply P lanning and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process Manag e the demand planning part of the monthly IBP cycle, organizing the meetings, ensuring all inputs and outputs are prepared and shared Ensure master data integrity/ review and amend ERP demand planning parameters using APICS methodology Develop Demand KPI ’s and set clear and actionable plans t o improve accuracy Gap analysis providing insights for use in IBP with gap closing options and scenarios Y ou will proactively identify trends and clearly communicate these to the Head of Demand to ensure these are included within the IBP process and forward plans Requirements: Previous experience in a relevant functional discipline, ideally with supply chain management qualification ( i.e. CPIM or CSCP). Well organized, systematic, and rigorous approach to planning work and priorities. Excellent influencing and inter-personal skills Data driven, with strong analytical and IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel & PowerPoint, ideally VBA and Power BI ); strong understanding of ERP (Dynamics AX / SAP), MRP software, and Power BI; creation and refinement of forecasting models within planning software tools- ideally SO99 or Imperia.
