Howdale Group Practice are looking to welcome a salaried GP to join the team on a permanent basis for 4-6 sessions a week. We offer the o ption to become a partner at the surgery (if desired). The main responsibilities of the role include: The delivery of high-quality medical care to our patients. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload, including on call doctor and telephone triage roles. Effective management of long-term conditions, accepting delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF. Carrying out home visits where necessary. Maintaining accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat and acute prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks. Contributing to the promoting and successful implementation of continuous improvement, development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training. Ensuring compliance with the appraisal process and completing the revalidation process. About the Candidate As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will: Be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration Have experience of working in a primary care environment. Be able to understand the needs of the patient and be sensitive and empathic. Be committed to supporting all the team and contribute to the development of the Practice.
