Job Overview
Spark2Life is recruiting a School Engagement Coordinator to play a vital role in a high-impact project addressing mental health inequalities among Black and Mixed-Heritage children. The School Engagement Coordinator will work closely with schools, parents, and community partners to co-create solutions that improve mental health outcomes and foster inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead engagement with school leadership teams, coordinate consultations with parents and staff, and document insights that drive change.
2. Facilitate two core engagement sessions in each school using a strengths-based Appreciative Inquiry approach.
3. Collaborate with mental health leads to assess existing practices and suggest targeted interventions.
4. Represent Spark2Life in local networks, contribute to knowledge-sharing, and support continuous improvement of the programme.
Candidate Profile
The Ideal School Engagement Coordinator Will Bring
1. Proven experience in community or educational engagement.
2. Strong facilitation and communication skills.
3. An understanding of mental health frameworks and challenges specific to Black and Mixed-Heritage communities.
