As Employee Relations Transformation Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert and provide specialist advice and delivery of many aspects of Employee Relations and HR policies. You will support DVSA’s strategic and business objectives, with a focus on transformational change activity for frontline terms and conditions review.
You will assist the Senior HR Projects Lead & Head of Employee Relations & Reward to deliver the Employee Reward & Recognition (ER&R) Strategy and helping Corporate Senior Leaders to deliver effective and efficient ways of working, enabling them to keep people safe on Britain’s roads.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* You will analyse a range of qualitative and quantitative information to provide evidence-based insight to help the organisation make informed decisions, address business problems, and add value to the organisation.
* Determine and plan requirements, including allocating resources and prioritising activities, over the short, medium and long term by fully understanding the business environment in which the team operates, the overall team objectives, ensuring their team fully understands and works to these requirements.
* Providing comprehensive and authoritative advice, drawing conclusions and explaining and defending the position in a convincing way. Breadth of knowledge and understanding of the issues is important in enabling the influencing of colleagues, senior leaders and external third-party providers.
* Showing political awareness when thinking through the impact of changes to the business.
* Maintaining positive Trade Union Side(TUS) engagement and interaction while helping the
business deliver a significant change agenda, including transformation of service delivery and efficiency savings.
