1X Leaving Care Personal Adviser Post Full time (37 hours), permanent £30,559 - £32,654 per annum Essential Car User Allowance We are currently recruiting to the post of Personal Adviser in our growing Leaving Care Team service working with young people age 16-25. Role: Undertake the Statutory Personal Adviser role for individual Care experienced young people from age 16 up to 25. To be the key professional and case manager to Former Relevant care experienced young people and when needed to those young people who are Relevant or Qualifying for advice and assistance. To work with young people leaving care to ensure a smooth transition to independence. To assist and support young people to prepare for independence and to support them once independent. We can offer an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ care leaving service. You will be supported with regular 1:1 supervision, reflective systemic meetings and colleagues who are passionate about what they do. We work systemically with young people within Children in Care and Leaving Care. We are looking for a very experienced, highly organised, knowledgeable and proactive Personal Adviser, with knowledge of leaving care legislation.
