Job Title: Receptionist & Administrative Assistant Location: Carella Laminate Systems, Campsie Industrial Estate Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and friendly individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. In this multifaceted role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, manage daily administrative tasks and provide assistance to senior management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to multitask effectively. Key Responsibilities: Receptionist Duties: Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and professional manner. Answer and forward incoming phone calls and take accurate messages as required. Manage the reception office/ area, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Maintain visitor logs and assist with any associated administration. Administrative Assistant Duties: Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and document management. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations. Support the preparation of meeting rooms when required (greeting visitors, refreshments, etc). Fleet management, MOT & servicing bookings. Provide personalised support to senior management, including managing calendars and scheduling meetings. Assist with personal tasks as needed, such as booking travel, organising events, and handling personal correspondence. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Receptionist, Admin Assistant or P.A. preferable, but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Basic knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Preferred Skills: Experience in managing social media accounts or basic marketing tasks. Familiarity with scheduling software and tools. Basic bookkeeping / accounting knowledge. Personal Attributes: Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude. Highly reliable with a strong work ethic. Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the team. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week with early finish on a Friday at 1:30pm.
