Make a Real Impact: Client and Projects Manager Inclusive Design at RNIB
Join RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) and play a vital role in creating a more inclusive and accessible world for people with sight loss. We're seeking a passionate and skilled Client and Projects Manager to join our Inclusive Design practice.
About the role:
As Client & Projects Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our Inclusive Design Team. You will work with our consultants to build and nurture strong client relationships while helping ensure the success of projects from inception to completion.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction, project profitability, and the smooth delivery of our inclusive design services. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for inclusive design, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What you will do:
1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and objectives, working with the team to continuously improve our services.
2. Project Coordination: Coordinate project delivery within the inclusive design teams, ensuring projects are completed on-time, to a high standard, and within budget. Monitoring project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
3. User Testing: Manage recruitment of user-testing participants for testing, coordinating user testing and logistics and maintaining the CRM of participant data.
4. Reporting and Administration: Manage and ensure relevant systems are optimised and continually updated including CRM and PSA platforms, provide regular reporting and insight on project and department performance. Interface with internal teams to ensure prompt client invoicing and payment.
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in client relationship management and project coordination, ideally within a design, consultancy, or related field.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented.
* A passion for inclusive design and accessibility.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., project management software, CRM systems).
* High degree of comfort in Excel. Ability to model data and create reports.
Travel will be required as part of the role and may involve occasional overnight stays. Hybrid workers must be commutable to either the London or Peterborough Office.
