Project Manager – Shopfitting & Fit out Location – Loughborough Reporting to Operations Director Salary £50k-£55k Company Car About Our Loughborough based client provide construction and fit out services to the retail industry, from small refurbishments through to complete fit outs for a number of High Street retailers. Their ethos is to work with clients and form long term relationships. Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager managing a variety of Shopfits & Fit Outs across the U.K. The candidate must have shopfitting experience and have a flexible approach, prepared to work unsociable hours at times to suit the needs of the project. The role is part office and part site based and it is essential that the candidate is willing to travel. As a Project Manager you will manage various sites, from the initial survey and tender, the management of the project, the control of the health and safety, the handover process through to agreement of all accounts; then continuing the relationship with the Client. Office based support will be provided by administration and accounts staff and the site works will be run by a foreman. Job Role Managing projects within budget, timeframe while striving for the best quality Experienced and capable of managing multiple sites/projects at one time Organisation of Sites including preparation of Health and Safety documentation Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, sites and internal teams Working from the initial survey through to handover Building and maintaining relationships with Clients Able to foresee, identify and deal with any project risks, prioritising tasks Skills & Experience Must have experience in the Shopfitting / Fit out industry Excellent communicator, written, verbally and in person Organised, works well under pressure Strong Maths and IT skills and commercially aware Good understanding of current Health & Safety requirements Pro-active thinker, the ability to use your initiative Good verbal communication skills
