Estates and Facilities Management of several NHS sites, focused on Mental Health and Community facilities across Essex and surrounding counties. Reporting into the Centralised Estates Office of HPFT in Hertfordshire.
Main duties of the job
Job Summary
At all the sites assigned to the role, provide comprehensive management of the upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and soft services of the assigned sites, ensuring the provision and maintenance of quality services in line with the Trust's strategic objectives. Ensure that services provided either internally or via third-party service providers are delivered in a timely and coordinated way in accordance with contract conditions to Clinical Operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for Service Users and Trust Staff. Liaise with Clinical Services to ensure that Estates and Facilities tasks are delivered in line with Clinical Services expectations and that any issues are addressed appropriately and/or escalated in a timely manner with other members of the Estates and Facilities team, Finance, HR, Infection Control, and other departments as required. Occasional / Monthly attendance at the Centralised Estates Office in Hertfordshire is expected.

Qualifications and Training
1. Degree level qualification or equivalent
2. Relevant Professional Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge
1. Experience in a similar role
2. Site management experience with knowledge of estate maintenance, facilities, security, and soft FM underpinned by theory or practical knowledge
3. Experience of working within the NHS or similar public sector organisation
4. Contract management of contractors
5. Permits to work and control of contractors
6. Experience of undertaking building audits
7. Evidence of ongoing personal development
8. Understanding of health and safety requirements
9. Experience in the management of staff and staff appraisals
10. Certified Responsible person for Water Safety, HVAC, Fire Safety

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year per annum pro rata
