SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield | Psychology Degree or SEMH Experience Essential
Location: Enfield, London
Position: Full-time (08:30am - 16:00pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in Enfield. This role is ideal for graduates with a Psychology degree or individuals with previous SEMH experience who are looking to develop their careers in educational therapy, mental health, support work, or teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support to class teachers in the classroom
Assisting children with SEND and SEMH needs in 1:1 and small group settings
Supporting students across KS1 – KS5, both in and out of lessons
Monitoring interventions and recording student progress
Setting individual learning and development targets
Requirements:
A degree in Psychology or proven experience working with SEMH students (essential)
Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service
Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
