Working as a member of the Faculty for Additional Learning Support the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support students from across college; playing an integral part in achieving positive outcomes for these students.
As an Educational Support Assistant at Loreto Sixth Form College you will be supported by an experienced and dynamic department. Your responsibilities will include assisting during lessons, supporting individualised learning plans to help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
Loreto Sixth Form College has been awarded a second consecutive outstanding rating in all areas under the latest framework in the December 2022 inspection. The report in particular notes the outstanding work of the Faculty for Additional Learning Support. It notes that “Students benefit from an inclusive learning environment that celebrates their individual contributions to the college. Staff provide exceptional support for students with SEND and high needs. The provide support swiftly, which enables students on the pathways to independence programme to develop their confidence and resilience. For example, students with SEND develop their confidence and independence effectively, supporting each other to move to other lessons without prompts from staff members.”
