Working as part of the Care Navigation/Reception team in a super busy environment. Greeting patients, helping patients to make appointments, processing prescriptions, assist patients with any general enquiries.

Booking appointmentswith a variety of clinicians and Allied Health Professionals
Processingregistrations
Processingmedication requests
Creating testrequest forms under instruction from clinicians while following Practiceprotocols
Chaperone forclinicians when the HealthCare Assistant is not available
Providingfront-of-house reception services to patients, checking in patients andanswering/resolving queries as needed both in-person and over the phone
Dealing with inboundand outbound post as required
Updating patientrecords as required

Experience
Essential
1. Although GP practice experience is preferred, it is not essential as full training will be given.
2. However, previous experience working in a customer facing role is essential.
Desirable
3. Experience of working in a GP Practice is desirable.

4. GCSE grate A to C in English and Maths
