Job Description
This role is based 5 days a week at our Shirebrook HQ
You will support with Stock and Sales reconciliations that only an over £5bn turnover international retailer could do, so expect to move quickly between demands, get involved in acquisitions, make commercial recommendations and present to senior stakeholders.
4. Producing and reviewing Monthly Management Accounts cost lines, budgets and forecasts
5. Managing one employee - assessing performance, showing best practice and developing the future of the business
6. Reviewing and investigating variances between the actual results and budgeted/forecasted results
7. Reconciliation of all relevant entities balance sheet
8. Owning and presenting monthly finance reports to line manager, and senior finance as required
9. Building relationships and acting as a Business Partner for financial/numerical queries with multiple departments such as retail support, commercial analysists, buying and warehouse operations
10. Supporting group & statutory audits for relevant entities
11. Assisting with the integration of new subsidiaries
Qualifications
12. Qualified ACCA/CIMA
13. Leadership/managerial experience
14. Previous experience within stock control in retail advantageous
15. Minimum 2 year’s experience working in a similar role within finance
16. Excellent IT system skills, in particular MS Excel
17. Looking to develop and grow a career in a commercial business
