The Offender Health Care Group is one of the UK's largest providers of prison healthcare, offering physical, mental health, and substance misuse services across prisons in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire, and Leicestershire.
We serve seven prisons, with a team of over 400 healthcare professionals, providing peer support, supervision, and development opportunities. Our services include the Personality Disorder Pathway, Therapeutic Communities, and Veteran Services.
We collaborate with prison services, probation, other healthcare providers, and criminal justice partners to improve health outcomes and reduce re-offending. Our goal is to provide high-quality, consistent care in primary, mental health, and substance misuse services, comparable to community healthcare.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Lead in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs and care within the Healthcare Centre team.
Ensure compliance with the National Service Frameworks and maintain high standards of care for the prison population.
Coordinate and lead the team as the operational daily nurse in charge.
Provide leadership, support, and supervision to the team.
Maintain professional standards and ensure adherence to policies and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
