We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing Sheffield depot. We have full-time, part time, permanent and fixed term roles available. What You’ll Do:
Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages.
Our depots process anything from 40, to, parcels in a shift. But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Teamwork will be key and there'll be some smart kit to help. You’ll use hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You'll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.
Our Warehouse Operative full-time contracts are 40hrs per week, either working exclusively days/nights or twilight, including some weekend shifts. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance. Flexible and part-time hours are also available.
