The Australian Ballet is one of the world’s leading ballet companies and a globally recognised Australian national performing arts organisation. Each year the company presents upwards of 220 performances through its mainstage seasons in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth; along with public programs, special events, an extensive regional tour, a Children’s Ballet and Education programs and regular overseas tours.
This role tours interstate and internationally 20 weeks per year.
Responsibilities:
* Work onsite and tour nationally and internationally with The Australian Ballet
* Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary health team
* Use specialist skills to manage and prevent dance injury
* Collate and analyse injury and performance data
What experience you’ll need:
* Physiotherapy degree
* Sports Masters postgraduate degree
* Experience working in an elite sports/dance medicine setting
* Knowledge of the physical and emotional demands of elite ballet
