The role of Chemical Process Co Ordinator in Rugby plant is to lead a team of CPO technicians and ensure and coordinate all functions for forthcoming CPO maintenance and process improvement in the plant
Lead a team of 1 direct with dotted line accountability for 5 shift based CPOs,responsible for all Plant equipment relating to chemical processes e.g. Work within Engineering department to Plan and Lead maintenance activities with hands on Function.
Manage teams to deliver first time right Project/ Maintenance tasks e.g. Work with other engineering Co-ordinators and CI team to design SOP’s & subsequent risk assessments for all CPO activities.
To develop and maintain excellent communication skills with the Engineering Team, Quality, CI team and production department in order to keep all production lines at their rated speed.
Support all project/ Overhaul start-ups with Commissioning plans.
Be involved with autonomous improvement projects, working alongside shifts and days team to identify and develop. Lending on the technical expertise and knowledge of the engineering and shift teams.
Coaching and mentoring of the site apprentices through their rotations in the area
Must be flexible and with appropriate training be willing to work in other areas to support team members, occasionally at short notice
A team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work alone under their own initiative.
Time served apprentice level or equivalent in engineering practices.
Electrical Qualification an advantage.
HNC/HND in chemical engineering or 5+ years experience in directly relatable field
