About the Business
An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a service business based in Birmingham. The business operates across the country, that’s fast-paced and rapidly growing.
Main Duties:
* Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements
* Calculation of accruals, prepayments, and deferred income
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Journal postings
* Variance analysis
* Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Analysis of income against costs
* Cash flow management
* Quarterly Management Accounts preparation on behalf of external clients
Location / Office / Culture
The role is based in Birmingham and has a minimum of two days a week in the office. The company operates from a modern office with a strong Finance Team of circa 30.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in management accounting
* Good IT skills, most notably Excel
