Ensure the safe transfer of patients to and from vehicles, following health and safety and other appropriate protocols and procedures, taking account of the safety of patients, self, colleagues and others, using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques. Undertake the full range of duties associated with the scope of practice of the role, practicing autonomously as part of an operational crew; or in other appropriate areas/vehicles with the exception of SRV or SORT Cars, and/or emergency/urgent care settings, as per Trust standard operational instructions. Carry out duties commensurate with SECAmb Scope of Practice & Clinical Standards Policy, practice guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & JRCALC national guidance. Use appropriate training and experience, knowledge and skills when working with new staff, promoting competence and confidence in undertaking clinical procedures and utilising appropriate equipment. At all times exhibit and comply with the Trusts values, standards of personal and professional conduct and performance. Take part in activities that lead to personal and/or team growth. The post holder is required to drive under emergency Blue Light conditions. During the college attendance dates no annual leave will be authorised.
