Senior Finance Manager - Non Financial Reporting

Join easyJet as a Senior Finance Manager – Non-Financial Reporting (NFR), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our non-financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant and working within the Group Financial Reporting team, you’ll ensure compliance with new legislation, such as IFRS S1 & S2 (sustainability standards), and CSRD requirements, while embedding best practices across the business. This is a unique opportunity to lead the future of non-financial reporting at easyJet, with potential to expand into broader financial and regulatory reporting.
In this role you will work closely with both the Sustainability team and the Legal team to implement business processes that support Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements and other Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks. You will lead the validation of ESG data, including in the Annual Report and Accounts (ARA) and ESG factsheets, and greenhouse gas emissions reporting, ensuring easyJet’s compliance with increasingly rigorous regulations. As part of this, you will coordinate data collection across the business, ensuring consistency in methodology documentation and supporting external assurance processes. You will act as the primary contact for external auditors on these matters, and additionally you will monitor changes in regulation and best practices, ensuring that easyJet’s non-financial reporting remains compliant, accessible, and aligned with new sustainability standards.
This is a new role, to be built from scratch with key milestones set for FY26/FY27, requiring a self-motivated individual capable of managing deadlines, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring progress is made along the way. In accordance with the required standards you will lead on the reporting of potentially hundreds of metrics annually, covering everything from workforce and emissions to community impact and waste.
This role requires a proactive approach to learning, with regular collaboration across the business. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring easyJet meets its legal obligations for non-financial reporting while contributing to the broader goal of financial oversight through sustainability standards.
What you need to do the role
We are seeking someone with a recognised qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or relevant ESG and sustainability certifications, with over six years of post-qualification experience. You will have exposure to non-financial and IFRS statutory reporting, as well as working with external reporting bodies and auditors. Experience within large FTSE, EMEA, or global organisations with diverse teams is essential, alongside excellent communication skills for preparing accounting papers, policies, and standards. You will be detail-oriented yet able to take a strategic view, adaptable to a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and experienced in influencing senior stakeholders to drive change. A proven track record in change management, implementing new processes across finance and non-finance teams, and a resilient, self-motivated approach are critical for success in this role.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office. Candidates looking for 4 days per week (32 hours) are welcome. Remember, we are always #happytotalkflex.
